A fine quality specimen of epidote and quartz from a relatively new and obscure Peruvian locality – La Verde Mine, Cascas District. The epidote–quartz crystals grow in a sculptural cluster. The sharp epidote crystals are translucent to transparent and strongly lustrous. They have a rich olive-green color. The quartz crystals are sharp and add a strong contrast. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
