Killer and rare specimen of mushroom-like tourmaline var. rubellite from one of the most unusual tourmaline finds of all time in Momeik Township, Myanmar. It displays a trigonal rubellite cap with a vivid, saturated and rich raspberry color. It is strongly lustrous and sparkling. The core is a black tourmaline var. schorl, forming an attractive phantom. The specimen is very colorful and pleasing. It is complete all over and very well shaped. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
