A unique specimen of epitaxially orientated pyrite pseudomorph after marcasite from this now closed zinc mine, famous for pyrite - Nanisivik Mine, Nunavut Territory, Canada. The primary sharp tabular marcasite crystal is pseudomorphed by sparkling pyrite. The color is bright brassy-yellow and the crystals are strongly light reflective.
