A stunning gem vesuvianite specimen from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals have a gorgeous color variation from saturated purple to rich honey-orange and minor fuchsia and orange-red tips. Some are doubly terminated. Crystals are sharp, transparent and gemmy. The luster is glassy, the colors and the quality are amazing. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition - some small nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
Exceptional small vesuvianite!
