Gorgeous jewels of sparkling Garnet var. Grossular with vivid grass green phantoms from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are very gem and glassy. They have rich green cores, which are result of Chromium, surrounded by transparent, colorless areas. The Grossulars have rhombic dodecahedral sharp crystallization, strong luster and irresistible color. Many crystals have black Chromite inclusions. The base is covered by bright apple green Diopside crystals. Very hard to find one of these now – the mine is inactive. This is of truly superior quality – very freshness and colorful. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some contacts.

Astonishing glowing green gems!
