Superb specimen of Azurite crystals partially pseudomorphed by Malachite from a new find in this uncommon location – Tafraout, Morocco. Featuring rosette spherical clusters of tabular crystals. It has very elegant posture and sharp Azurite blades. The crystals are very lustrous with dark blue color to striking electric royal-blue. One Azurite plate is gemmy on a strong light. Some areas are pseudomorphed by green Malachite. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
