Excellent gem and doubly terminated crystal of blue Fluorapatite of 18mm from Golconda pegmatite, Brazil. The crystal have pleasing blue color with varying intensity – at the base is darker blue and the cap is rich sea blue. The Fluorapatite is transparent and gem at the cap and opaque at the lower part. It is perfectly definite barrel crystal with good luster. It is doubly terminated. The Fluorapatite sits attractively on white Albite base with minor Muscovite. The crystal is complete all over 360 degree. Some minor nicks on the Fluorapatite and contacts on the Albite. On acrylic base.
