A highly aesthetic specimen of axinite-Fe, quartz and epidote from Sayan, Huaura province, Peru. The axinite-Fe crystals grow in a beautiful cluster at the top of the quartz base. They are sharp, gemmy with a brown color and strong luster. The quartz crystals are transparent, sharp and lustrous. The epidote grows in a spray of needle crystals. It has an olive-green color and pearly luster. The contrast is very strong. It displays aesthetically all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some minor nicks. On acrylic base.
