Cool specimen of Chalcopyrite and Pyrite crystals on a Quartz druse from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The Quartzes are chunky, well definite and complete. They are milky to transparent, with pointed tips and they have growth phantoms. Second generation of smaller Quartz needles grow on them. Golden yellow Chalcopyrite crystals and brassy Pyrites are seen all over. They add a strong contrast. Some black Sphalerite is seen too. In very good condition - some small nicks and side contacts.
