Jewel garnet var. grossular crystals to 4mm from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are gem, completely transparent and clear like water. They have a rhombic dodecahedral sharp crystallization and a glassy luster. They are sherry colored with pinkish nuances. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
