A highly aesthetic specimen of thomsonite and mesolite from a recent find in Burhanpur District, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was found during a highway construction. Not many pieces were collected and most of them were damaged. It displays pleasing orange thomsonite hemisphere densely covered with mesolite needles. Mesolite forms a radial spray of delicate, spiky crystals. The orange thomsonite forms a gorgeous phantom like sphere, which contrast under the mesolite. They sit at the top of a base. It shows all over 360 degree. In good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Beautiful!
