A cool specimen of hematite var. iron rose from Central St Gotthard Massif, Switzerland. Ex. Laurent Gentile, Switzerland with a label. It shows a classic, rare, black flower formed by parallel hematite plates. The iron rose has an excellent quality with sparkling faces, which nicely reflects the light. It has very three dimensional, hexagonal, sharp shape. Some muscovite is seen too. It displays beautifully on both sides. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts.
Fantastic!
