Gorgeous sparkling gem rhodochrosite crystals from the famous Santa Eulalia District, Chihuahua, Mexico. This is from a new find. It displays transparent, clear and gem rhodochrosite crystals to 4mm. They have an intense and rich cherry-red color. The crystals are with a sharp scalenohedral shape. The faces have a glassy luster. The quality is excellent - marvelous color and clarity so the crystals just glow. The deposit has produced these treasures long time ago and pieces like this have always been scarce. In very good condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
