A breath taking specimen of reticulated cerussite from Nakhlak Mine, Iran. The reticulated growth is due to a cyclic twinning. The blades are parallel and it is possible to look through the specimen. The crystals are highly lustrous and colorless. The piece is very well shaped all over and delicate. For references see the 2023 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 54, # 3. In excellent condition – some small contacts.
Snowflake beauty!
