A killer top quality manganoan vesuvianite specimen with crystals sticking out all over in a cluster from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The perfectly terminated crystals to 20mm are gem. Some of them are doubly terminated. They have an amazing color variation from rich purple to very saturated raspberry and some apple-green areas. The luster is very strong and the crystals are glassy and sparkling. The colorfulness of the specimen is gorgeous. It displays from all sides. It is almost a complete floater. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition - some small contacts.
Exceptional!
