A marvelous specimen of thomsonite and mesolite from a new find in Burhanpur District, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was found during a highway construction. Not many pieces were collected and most of them were damaged. It displays vivid orange thomsonite hemispheres densely covered with mesolite needles. Mesolite forms radial sprays of delicate, spiky crystals. The orange thomsonite forms gorgeous phantoms like spheres which contrast strongly under the mesolite. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
Cool!
