Beautiful specimen of sharp Garnet var. Andradite crystals on Hedenbergite base and decorated with Quartz crystals from Serifos Island, Greece. Rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals up to 13mm are nestled on green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasant red-brown color, very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt lustrous. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, growing in a cluster. The Quartz crystals are well shaped and the give an aesthetic finish. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
