Fascinating specimen of bi-color Vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. They have from rich purple color to apple-green areas. The crystals are gem, with strong glassy luster and are well shaped. Some are doubly terminated. The Vesuvianite is very fresh and sparkling. Some tabular, colorless Diopsides crystals are seen too. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
Gorgeous!
