Outstanding quality gemmy Lazulite crystal from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. Actually this specimen comes from a new locality in Rapid Creek area – Mt Seafoam. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The Lazulite crystal is sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color measuring 17mm. It has gemmy areas with marvelous blue-green color variations. The crystal is twinned which is quite uncommon. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
