Pleasing specimen of gem Sphalerite var. Cleiophane crystals to 6mm sitting on Quartz base from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The Cleiophanes are transparent, bright, gem and lustrous with olive-green-yellow color. They are well crystallized and the rich color makes them pop out nicely on the white Quartz base. In excellent condition – some small nicks.
