Cute specimen of gem and fine Spessartine Garnet crystals up to 4mm growing on Smoky Quartz crystal from Tongbei, China. The Spessartines are well shaped and transparent with rich orange color. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. The smoky Quartz crystal is sharp and well definite, highly lustrous, transparent, and clear. Inside the Quartz are seen small Spessartine crystals inclusions. The Spessartines contrast strongly and the good quality gives aesthetic display. In good condition – some small nicks and contacts. On acrylic base.
