Fine gem Garnet var. Spessartine specimen. On white Albite base, partially covered by Muscovite, grow many Spessartine crystals. The white background underlines them very well. Spessartines have trapezohedral shape, up to 6mm big and are well formed and isolated. They are sharp, highly lustrous, with tremendous deep wine red color. The crystals are vitreous and gem. One Quartz crystal is seen as well. Some small nicks and damages. On acrylic base.
